Dreamweaver

Darius Dreamweaver is a mind mutant, a telepath cursed with an uncontrollable psychic defense that makes him appear indescribably evil. Zach knows it's just a disguise but has never been able to bring himself to fully trust Darius. Then, deep in winter, a band of vicious, cannibalistic raiders besieges the village of Oringa's people, the home of Alanna, the girl Darius loves, the girl who believes him a monster. 

When Tye Ingram finds one of the villagers dead at the foot of the trail to the Rim, they assume he was headed to Haven Hold for help. Daniel and Zach brave the icy, treacherous climb to try to try and reach the village. Before the pair can arrive at their destination, Rogan's Raiders attack. They capture Zach and leave Daniel lying in the snow, apparently dead. Suddenly, Darius Dreamweaver and his amazing abilities become Daniel and Zach's only hope for survival.
